PAN Doppler

Stereo Doppler effect with curve trajectory.

The Doppler effect is the change of a sound's frequency experienced from an observer while moving relative to the source of the sound.

It is commonly heard when a vehicle sounding a siren or horn approaches, passes, and recedes from an observer.

Settings

sync

Synchro determines what triggers the movement.

  • start button
  • loop
  • global synchro cycle
  • etc.

speed

Duration of the movement in milliseconds.

Only if the synchro=loop.

start

Starts moving according the drawn trajectory.

Visible only if the synchro=start button.

clear

Clears the drawn trajectory.

mute at the end

Mutes the sound at the end of the movement. Only if synchro=start button.

trajectory

Direction of the movement.

  • forward
  • backward
  • forward and backward
  • hi freq absorb

In the real life the more farther sources are the more hi frequencies are absorbed. This parameter set the amount of absorption according to the distance.

doppler effect

Amount of the Doppler effect. For hi values, hi pitch modulations.

speakers pos

Distance between speakers.

proximity

Volume absorption according to the observer's distance from each speaker. For low value, the volume is not affected by the distance. You can also consider this parameter as the overall size of the scene.
