I can listen to a nice crescendo curve now on my recorded sound
the data module with curve is really helpfull

You can create volume changes in a lot of ways in Usine, and both your suggestions are just as good as anything, although I would suggest adding volume control within the patch (before the audio out modules) instead of controlling the track volume. That way you have independent control of the (de)crescendo and total volume out. No matter what you use, you can use several modules to create the control values, but I suggest that you use Data Modules/Curve with Points, which can be used as a multisegment envelope generator of sorts. You'll have to adjust the min/max values to fit the range of the gain control your connecting it to.

Using the sequencer is quite similiar - the first automation curve is actually hard-coded to control the track output. The automation is quite like the Curve with Points.

I'm not sure if I understand your last question..? "Audio in" is what comes into the track, and is selected at the (inputs, other tracks, auxiliaries, wave player), but you can add more within the patch by using Additional Audio Input modules or by using busses to pass audio (or other data) freely between patches in the workspace.

But i 'm really wondering how to get it works !

I record a long note with the live echoplexx (in a cycle of 4 bars measures - track 1)
I 'd like to get a effect of crescendo decrescendo on this new recorded note
with a kind of pre-automation system

What is the easiest way to get it

- an pre-automation on the volume fader of the track 1 (but how to do this)
- in the sequencer mode : is there a way of making a patch that will do this crescendo decrescendo

What I don't really understand to create a patch : is the echoplexx considered as an "audio in" when a loop is recorded ?
