I had only tried with inlet "num virtual". Did not thought about the outlet. This way, you can chose different midi in device...

Us usal, the question, concerning Usine, should been "how can i do this?". And not "is it possible?"

regarding the num virtual pin on the midi in module I dont know what it does?
manual: "Original Virtual Midi input device number of the incoming message"
this tells you which virtual input port is being used - meaning, for example, if you have a keyboard set up as 'in 1' in the midi setup, when you play something on it 'num virtual' reads '1'. if you had another keyboard on 'in 2', when you played on it 'num virtual' would read '2'. you can use this to specify which controller is being used if you place a 'pass event flow' module in the midi wire between the input and the vst etc and use an 'A = B' module with the 'num virtual' output going to 'A' and it's output goin to the 'pass' input. then you just set the 'B' value to the controller you want and only that controllers midi input will be passed through.

also I am not sure if usine accepts multiple, discrete midi in's? means: one midi in module only outputs data from a EWI windcontroller via midi, another midi module only outputs data from a BCR-2000 via USB?
might be wrong: in usine midi hardware gear is intended to be separated by midi channel filtering?
if so, this is not kewl for some use cases, eg. wehn working with midi clock and hw sequencers, one midi cable is transmitting midi clock only. being a system message midi clock cannot be filtered by channel numbers.

btw, I like plogue bildue's approach here: it generates modules like eg. 'BCR-2000 IN'.
maybe this is against usine's way of being independent of external gear...

I use 2 or 3 Midi controller and i don't have any problem with that. But i configure each of them to send different CC Number.

but perhaps i don't understand your problem.

I've got two external midi controllers. i would like to choose wich one will be accepted as midi in on a track for exemple. I've tried with the "num virtual", but it did not work as i thought.

Is it possible, or do i have to deal with midi channel numbers?
