If you don´t notice this message and save the workspace a second time, you´re fucked, because usine will replace the valid backup of your wkp with another 0KB-version.

Now I regularly make copies of my workspace and check the logwindow after saving, so not everything is lost. Perhaps usine could alert the user with a popup window when an error occured while saving?

2)then the new file is rewritten.

If a crash appears during the step 2 you can loose the new file. But if you loose both files (the .wkp and the '-old') it's probably not because of Usine but a Windows or hard disk problem.

I had a similar problem some weeks ago... a certain workspace was always empty when I loaded it, don't know why... but the files were not deleted, so I managed to restore it from the one with the ~

I shut down Usine one hour ago with this big wkp saved before, and worked on an other computer.
Now, I just restart (autoload ON) and what do I see there? An empty one, except of course the master section, with the name of my big one.
Hey, what's wrong now?
OK, I don't close Usine, since it's always saving the wkp, and I look for my wkp on my drive.
Nothing. Not event the old one with the ~.
I also look for "Workspace.wkp" in the application folder: 4 ko...
Where is it gone, I don't know and I don't care: it's just lost.
How is it gone (are they gone), I can't explain, but I would like to.
How can this appen?

Hmm, I know. I'm a stupid guy, ater more than 20 years using all kind of computers, I still don't know how to use them. It must be that. I just can delete the three good files at the same time without touching anything. Anybody to tell me I'm halfwitted?
Ok, now I can close Usine.
For a while, I think.
