I am using WinXP SP3. Reinstalling the drivers (if any) does not help. It´s strange, I have a little programm called USBDeview and it shows the correct names. But in my DAWs the midi gear only shows up as USB Audio Device.

@vincent: at least, I´m not alone. :)

Cheers, Stefan

I have a question regarding windows: is it possible to rename the USB Devices in windows? I have several Midi Devices (BCR2000, padKontrol, Evolution Keyboard, FCB1010) and they all show up as "USB Audio Device" in Usine (or USB-Audiogerät, since my windows speaks german). Does anybody know if it´s possible to rename them?

Thanks,
Stefan
