I've only one hardrive but with 2 "partition" named C and D. I've install usine on the D drive and the glitches appears more often when I use the C drive to store the recorded files. I've better results on D drive, even if my directory is not the same as usine directory ( j'utilise la même partition (D : ) qu'usine, mais dans un répertoire différent ).
maybe it's because windows swap is on the c partition.
another thing, if you have two partitions on one disk, one is physically near the center (less speed) of the disk, and the other is near the border (more speed). Maybe for your case, the d partiton is near the border.
hope it help

option in the sampler is a very good idea !!! So my question is : how long it will take to save the file?
It's depend of the file size (duration * sample rate * rec format) and the speed of your disk access (ultraATA, RAID0...)
Hope it help.

When you are in "options" dont forget the template sequencer wave player, a general option in usine to choose to play sample in direct to disk or in Ram, for us is better in Ram ( no click audio). thanks Olivier franck et ses amis

Olivier, is it not possible to keep recorded files in Ram ? We hope this option, good for us... and others. Thanks Franck et se amis
