1) natives modules included in Usine (like the sampler, etc..) 2) sub patches, which are patches that you include in other patch, and so on. With the Pro version you can create and modify sub-patches, not in the free. If you can make a patch you can make a sub patch because it's the same. 3) scripts, generally used for complex data manipulations, a basic knowledge in programming stuffs, especially the pascal like language 4) User Modules make with the C++ SDK; if you are a warrior in programming.
I feel that you are talking about the 2) You can really live without knowing anything on points 3 & 4!!
