if my assumption about a dj mixer is correct be aware that u'll maybe have to deal with a lot of huge sound files (mp3 streaming becomes quickly mandatory, u cant load 10giga of wavs in the RAM). just an idea: use 2x deckadance and remote control the playlist. then, u could combine the playlist behavior with wicked signal processing and combine this again with a crossfader for both deckadance instances - going far beyond what deckadance alone could do

What I'm looking for is the ability to load up multiple sound files and have signal processing changes in synch with the sound files. Then I'd like to cross fade another instance of sound files, and associated automated signal processing.. As far as I can see, you can only have one sequence running at one time. This is fine if you know what order you're going to play your set in but doesn't allow for much spontaneous randomness .
