and no - fft fx are not realtime still have latency ! not big one but still ... in DtBlkFx - you can choose the size of the latency / buffer. some hosts can compensate the latency.

if u are looking for vst stuff u maybe didnt know: spectral or fft driven plugs could maybe u give this effect in realtime. like the mentioned DtBlkFx or on the commercial side spectron by izotope or the fairly unkown spectrumworx by delaydot. .

however, if u can afford it, there is edison vst by imageline. its alike audacity or audition and u can timestretch a selected region in in the wave display.
to have it directly in usine would be better of course. i'd opt for integrating offline-procedures somehow in the sample pool or in the sequencer window since all other modules have real-time in+outlets.

Can't be made realtime. I mean - it can't process the audio input without latency ( obviously ). So it could work as a sampler feature in Usine. And remember that Paul's Stretch is FFT based - not granular !
i abused Paul's with good cheesy ( i hope) results in this (free) ep: ( EP dedicated to old VHS only movies from our childhood )

however, i'd love to see the paulstretcher as realtime app too. at least, i've seen paulstretch has been ported to Audacity.
