Is possible to prepare a midi track to automative rec/play/loop/vsts parameters/stop to get pedal free looping? In Ableton is easy enough to get this thing, but I don't like the GUI and the layout...identical to every traditional DAW...If i could get this done into Usine this would be the ultimate reason for purchasing it.. Ive configured a midi pedal to trigger record stop and start. Its really a lot of fun, and im impressed how it quantizes the start and end of the loop automatically. Im having great fun looping drums, then bass, then guitar, then 2 or 3 more keyboard parts, but im reaching the limits of my hardware.
My question is can the same thing be done for recording and looping midi parts on the fly? what advantages / disadvantage are there? Which is easier on CPU?
