I've checked this. I understand that there are different "modes" : Global vs Patch (third one is for VSTi). I also understand that in "Patch mode" the tracks get only info from corresponding MIDI chan (track 1 = Midi chan 1)...but as I've never used MIDI stuff, it's not that clear to me. Imagine I have a controller with whatever button or switches or faders : is it possible to have part of the buttons dedicated to chan 1 and others to chan 2 ?The behaviour for MIDI signals can be set up to act in two different ways; check out the manual, chapter 11 "About Midi input".
