There is definitely a bug in the way the snapping works, at least with nested layouts. I have auto-resize disabled, and grid set to 4. If I take one of my mixer channels full of controls and move it, it looks perfect, but as soon as I release the mouse, the objects within it move randomly to different neighboring grid positions..... It seems pretty random too--I get a variety of results with identical layouts....
