And btw, remember you can have several version of Usine on your computer so feel free to test and tell us how it is for you..?

I hope it is kept alongside the main process. (I haven't updated yet so I haven't tried it)
And one more question: If I invest in a 6 core cpu and make a setup with 5 tracks, I guess setting nb-threads=6 will keep one core for the main process (and graphics?) and the other 5 cores for processing each track individually?

I set my i7 to 8 cores and for threads I'm still a bit confused, it seems to work most efficiently when I have the same number of threads as tracks, but I am honestly still confused about this setting. In general, each track will use a separate core so I find it most efficient to to use as many tracks as I have cores (8) About only 4 cores being used in the task manager, I noticed the same thing recently on one project but haven't taken the time to look any further. It's been awhile I haven't been deeply immersed...

Here's my beginner question : what should I choose on the CPU setting that is in "setup" to optimize the use of my i7 cpu ?
I tried 4 cores and 8cores, but when I look at the performances with the "gestionnaire des taches windows" only 4 seem to be used by usine.
How could I make usine use all of the cores ?
thanks in advance !
