It needs a GSIF compatible audio card in standalone, or you can rewire it with Cubase. Would you like me to share my old version of GS160 for a while (as it cannot work on my comp now, it's OK)?

Here is the answer of http://learngigastudio.com/forum/
Hey it might work fine, try and see. GVI can run great in standalone mode also. As usual, Giga / GVI are stable once you have the right combination of drivers / apps. I prefer going down the path of least resistance, as I prefer playing, as opposed to the caveman slapping on the sides of his CRT. Read the threads of sucsessful DAW's built @ www.northernsounds.com It has several similar beliefs using different combinations of apps, and hardware.

Mr. Michel,

Does USINE run VST instruments? If it does, then you should be able to load GVI into it and use it as a standard VST instrument.

Thank you for your interest in TASCAM products.
Nice, isn't it? Even me could not imagine such an answer!
Well, we both know the end of the story, right?
Disappointing, they aren't interested in Usine.
Anyway, I'm sure that they did the best VSTi-sampler ever built. Since Usine is actually the best VSTi host ever built, where is the bug?
