Im away from home for now but if i well remember i reduced all osc tagz that where frequently requested as i saw i was getting data much faster... ie live became L, clip became C and infos I. So maybe try /L/C/I... (you can try to compare by getting v1 and V2 files, i think V1 is still in addon).
but Ill try to check and let you know...

edit: i think i replaced it by just /I (i like info caps)

you can see the new tagz in liveoscCallbacks.py if you wanna use V2 and update your tagz in your usine osc modules, cause i think
it's easier that way than copy/paste stuff (possible), cause there are various stuff that i changed in LiveOsc.py too..
sorry for the mess, but when i tested, transfert time was highly reduced...

clipinfo should be now /I instead of /live/clip/info as you can see in callback file:

self.callbackManager.add(self.clipInfoCB, "/I")

I didn't modify LoopAll normaly:

self.callbackManager.add(self.loopStateCB, "/live/clip/loopstate")
self.callbackManager.add(self.loopStartCB, "/live/clip/loopstart")

i didn't tried yet the new osc function senso just added, but it seems now an osc module is able to automatically detect what is received and create pins, maybe you can trigg clips or whatever you need from live and you'll get all the new tagz one shot!!... oO

Sorry, a little off topic but...

I see you've done some changes to the liveOSCCallbacks.py file. The file no longer works with my setup as I use the reference /live/clip/info a lot, which you've removed/now done differently. I would like to utilise the loopall function, can you please let me know where I can find information about modifying my file to add it or point me to the part in which I can 'borrow' from yours?

oh , yeah, i see what you mean. the sad thing is i still don't have a touch screen actually, i test with mouse and so don't got those pbs.. i was supposed to have done kind of security to prevent this tricky unwanted scrolling, but maybe i got to check it back..
hopefully afer christmas i should have more free time and get back to my beloved usine, and work back on booth ableton and usine session patchs

Dopeness! Glad I'm back just in time to test this out! Working great here except sometimes when launching a clip the matrix will move over a bunch of tracks and down several scenes so have to scroll back after launching a clip, tested on one computer on w7 and w8 preview, same results but will test on some other machines see if i can reproduce, great job 23fx!

mmm strange im pretty sure this works in local mode, wonder why it wouldn't work, will investigate but i need to find a second computer for that. by waiting try to enable trace OSC in in usine options and move faders from live, can you see something in usine console? if yes pb comes from patch, if no pb comes from OSC communication from liveOSC, but ive no idea...be sure you entered correct IP in liveosc.py but i suppose you did..

cool, nice vid! (but it's v1 here right?)

yupV2 was completely rebuild differently than v1. i think there were few scripting issues that where fixed, and the preload sytem is a different one, but TBH, i don't remember about v1...

sorry i don't understand, what do you mean by 'no osc in to control host?' mean if changing from live it doesn't update?

Hi

i just tested the new version .

Pros :superfast response via Wifi , version one was a bit slow , did you change the modules or the layout only? v1 had some problems with input so there was 5 to 10 precent chance that when u touch your screen it would not follow your command . dunno if its usine or the patch .
loved the box that let you choose your view and the zoom option same az actual Launchpad or Apc .

Cons :no osc in to control host ! and sometimes the connection was lost so no input to Ableton live.

sorry for delay, here is a version you can test where i re-added a swich for local/remote and IP/name field. you can find them in the 'preload menu'. you still have to manually edit liveOsc to replace 'local host' by your target IP/name
sadly im unable to test/debug as i only got one computer, i hope it will work..

hi mates

as some might have seen, ive been totally overbusy recently and far from my beloved usine and the forum
I will still have again a busy month to work.. but im still addict to usine no worries

So... ive reopen back my 8 months old APC files and had earth attack on the complexity of the stuff,
tried to clean, make a bit simpler and update the stuff for a fresher V2.

So here is a beta (not as addon for now) working fine here. including only the new scalable Matrix based grid
(all the rest is ready as in youtube vidz, but wanna clean and increment features slowly..)
