here is a new limiter, from TbT. sound very good to my ears
Thanks for the link, damstraversaz!
I've just done a patch to compare with the Modern Limiter, I can switch between them in real time. I'm gonna test them with the singer and tell here what we think. For now, latencies seem to be very close - and very short. And can't say anything about sound quality, I need the singer!

That's great news!!
I'm also experiencing some clipping from time to time, especially when using gain effects (distortions etc...), in some live situations where the band starts playing louder. It not always easy to keep enough headroom during the soundcheck.
Waiting for next release.
Rgds,

B.

In this pack:
* Modern Meter
* Modern Compressor
* Modern Equalizer
* Modern Spacer
* Modern Limiter
Very nice skins...
I had a quick look to the compressor and the limiter... almost no latency and CPU friendly. The sound seems very good. I'll check the equalizer and the spacer very soon.
No way to know who is/are Antress...

yeah, I'll have a look to "Modern Plugins", since Kjaerhus Classic Master Limiter has too much latency for me and specially for vocal.
I think I won't use any limiter for now, but just put a compressor in some tracks. Or try something to use Reason's with Virtual Audio Cables. I don't know yet. I'm now very careful with levels...

Wishing long life to Usine!

In that way Usine looks more like a common success.

The limiter is a good suggestion,
I've already tried to make a limiter without a real success...
Because It's not so easy to make a good sounding one.

I found a good free VST that I put as "insert" in the "out master" section:
www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-master-limiter.php
Try also he "modern plugins" free series

It does a good job, with a little latency (due to look ahead).

first : i'm really more and more impressed by the usine progress...it is my main live tool now.

sometimes i am a little extreme with volumes settings...and sometimes some bad clipping occurs...

would be nice to have a soft lilmiting algo....i guess the most efficient way would be to have it a the main output stage...
obviously an enable/disable kind of thing...perhaps in the setup panel..

what do you think about it?

thanx
