My main reason was not power of that machine, but that it has firewire (i am using firewire soundcard) the power - and by that the time that notebok will be able do all the tasks i n need for longer time was secondary reason.

I'm planning to buy a new laptop PC, I found this :

What do you think ? It's far far better than my eeePC but isn't it "too much" ? (it is sold as a gamer laptop) Do you run a cheaper config without any problem ?
