forgot to specify that at least I get different results with this same workspace i sent you with 3.05b and 3.20beta2. this is why i think this is the root of my problem.

i decided to send you this simplified scenario. my original workspace would be quite a jungle to understand.
let's start with this :)

i used to have a looper patch that worked like a dream still in 3.05.
something strange has happened since then. i'm now working in 3.20 and trying to figure this all out.

my problem can be stripped down to this simple demonstration:

I have a metronome patch giving a click (one accent three regular).
I send this click via a audio bus to another patch.

in that patch I have:

A sampler with the audio bus (click) going into the input.
I have a Rec button with Bar Quantize going into the Rec inlet.
I have the a From 1 to 0 patch in between the Rec button and the Play inlet of the Sampler. This means when the rec goes off it starts playing immediately.
Hear how the Click from the metronome patch and the one recorded into the Sampler (triggered by the end of recording) go nicely in sync.

Now add a Synchro module to the Sampler, connecting the cycle led into the Play inlet of the sampler. Hear how they now play slightly out of sync.

Why is that?

As I said, this is a super simplified setup to demonstrate my problem. I had bigger problems too but it seems to be coming down to this.

thanks
