well, now I'd like to load a subpatch of a different patch, so hoping there is some way to specify the target patch. I'll try another forum search....

Well, I found a good workaround, using a combination of scripting and the load patch module.

I'd also like to have a script to clear patches, though, so if anybody knows how to do that....

Once again, I can load an empty or near-empty patch, so there is a workaround.

did that, and no IML.... I made a patch with a single 0to1 module, and loaded it from the loadPatch module. All I get in the console is one line:

create module TpgFrom_0_To_1 219

no create patch at all.

My initial thought is to pre-create a template/dummy patch and either use a "load patch" or a "load module (subpatch)".

There is the 'load patch' module that will load a patch to rack 3, slot 2, for instance, but I cannot find an example of the syntax to script this, as every example seems to set target patch to sender patch.....

I did look at the console when I used the module, but there is no IML for creating the patch itself, just for creating the object inside it.

Any tips welcomed.
