accessed a file.
Could you start with a preset on just one patch, then try a rack, then the whole workspace and see when the issues starts to occur.
Its also the case that if your PC is on the edge of running out of steam it doesn't take much to cause an sound interruption.
On my Dell laptop I had to stop all the Dell services else I got audio dropout on patch changes.

But I agree that just selecting a preset that only changes usine graphical items should not cause audio effects. Of course something a dial or
switch is connected to could result in a VST doing something CPU intensive.
I have always avoided whole workspace presets as I imagine it must load various system settings along with the switches, buttons, etc.

A general query about CPU and Usine. If the VSTs are running in a thread, can Usine restrict the CPU allocated to that thread so the VST
cannot hog the CPU ? (this might make the VST load slower).

Simon.

I feel this is not a plugin related issue. The behavior of the white info display box located at the upper right corner (used to be blue in previous versions of HH) gets my atention, the fact that the audio interruption and other artifacts are present exactly when and during this info box appareance makes me think that is has to do with the issue. I did a test of changing parameters within plugins by engaging them by using switches, buttons etc. and it just worked fine. When I tried to control these buttons and switches through preset manager the issue appeared. Again, the silent edit option of PM is not longer present in HH current version to confirm or dismiss things, It would be a good idea to have it back.

I don't think I've experienced this behavior in HH previous versions. Really have to go back and do some more testing. I really miss the old CONDUCTOR module from USINE 5 generation and former versions. It was absolutely efficient fast, noise and artifact free, and, by the way, it had bank-preset capabities. Why don't you guys just have it back in HH?. I've read from some people asking for it in this forum.
