For some reason the popup panel has a minimum width of 120px. For comparison, you can set the height down to 0 if you want.
If I want a very small popup window - less than 120px wide, the only way is to use the zoom factor to make it smaller.
Can this restriction be removed ?

Bonjour à tous,
Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà essayé l'Exquis d'Intuitive Instruments dans HH6 ? Je suppose qu'en mode MIDI standard, il envoie simplement des notes ON/OFF et des CC, mais qu'en est-il du MPE ?
Est-il facile de configurer les touches et des hauteurs personnalisées et de les enregistrer dans la mémoire de l'interface sans passer par le logiciel ?
Dans Usine, je préfère ne pas utiliser de logiciels tiers afin de garantir la compatibilité et la stabilité à long terme de mes workspaces

Hello everyone,
Has anyone tried the Exquis from Intuitive Instruments on HH6? I assume that in standard MIDI mode, it simply sends on/off notes and CCs, but what about MPE?
Is it easy to configure custom keys and ranges and save them to the interface’s memory without using the software?
In Usine, I prefer not to use third-party software to ensure the compatibility and long-term stability of my workspaces.

Suggestions & improvements • Poly patch container offset

I've been trying to use subpatch Poly more for graphical layouts. My components are in the container. Every time poly is applied the containers end up on top of each other.
I would like a Poly setting that offsets the containers from each other in position when poly is applied instead of on top of each other. After that the containers would still be moveable as normal.
The setting might best be in the container properties e.g. "Offset container in Poly" vertical and horizontal pixels. The first poly voice container would stay where it is and the others offset by the offset setting multiplied by the (voice number - 1).

Bonjour à tous,

Olivier SENS ( alias @senso le créateur du logiciel) ) et moi organisons depuis plus de 15 ans une formation au Studio Lakanal à Montpellier.

Elle aura lieu cette année ➜ du 28 sept au 2 octobre 2026.

L'idée est de se former sur le logiciel tout en échangeant avec tous les participants et faire progresser ou émerger son projet avec Usine. Olivier s'adapte au niveau de chacun.

Cette formation est éligible aux OPCO, AFDAS, (Auteur compositeur, technicien, musicien...), plan de formation entreprise, France Travail, Auto-entrepreneur et tarif spéciaux en autofi.

Le nombre de place est limitée à 6 pour pouvoir échanger ensemble efficacement, et possibilité d’hébergement sur place type gite urbain s'il reste des places.

Patching questions • Midi learn only from rack

Hi.
I have a midi bus going to each of my racks, (the top patch in each rack has a midi from bus connected to a midi out)
so that all lower patches in the rack get the midi data for that rack.
I want to do midi learn only on the midi data in that rack, but Usine midi learn is global.
Is there any way to have rack specific midi learn ?

If not, this may be something for HH7.

Patching questions • sampler et MAJ dynamique des fichiers

Bonjour à tous,
J’ai un problème tout bête sur lequel je bloque. J’aimerais que le sampler joue une liste de sons situés dans un dossier. Et si je change les sons dans le dossier, en gardant les mêmes noms (et donc la même adresse dans l'arborescence), que le sampler se mette à jour.
Actuellement, même avec les sampler configurés en lecture sur disque, Usine garde les samples en mémoire et ne joue pas les nouveaux fichiers.

Une solution ?

I believe the sample editor in Usine can read wav and aif files.
It seems Usine would be a good platform to set sample loop points etc.

Can it or a patch do the following:
1. Set and play a loop
2. Add loop start and end cue points to metadata
3. Snap cue to zero crossing point
4. Modify sample to cross fade across loop points.
5. Save the sample in the same or different format with loop cue points in the metadata that can be used by another sampler ?
