I'm having the same issue. I have a 12.5 inch 4k screen (Dell XPS 12). If I change the global zoom control to anything greater than 1, there is no way to see the settings menu anymore. Also, with Windows DPI scaling on, everything looks soft and not crisp. With DPI scaling off, everything is too tin...
