Build a comma text from a sequence of indexes of a listbox
Hello,
I have the following listbox : C, C#, D, D#...
I have also a number sequence, let's say : 0, 3, 2
I want to output the following comma text : C, D#, D
How can I achieve this, please?
I guess it's dead simple but I can't find a way.
Thanks,
creal.

I have the impression that this forum is dead. I hope Brainmodular is not going to stop its activity.

Invert "log" and "exp" scale names?
Hello, I have a simple question: why do log/exp scales are programmed with values on X-axis and input on Y-axis? Re: Looking for a "send index if has changed" module
Thank you. It's very clear now. Something I missed is that "Max Pos" returns the lowest index if two indexes reach the same max value. Therefore, Concat (with the combination of X-1 and Pass) avoids always returning to the first fader and sending unwanted values (data 1 = 1, data 2 = x) each time Ma...

Thank you very much Sylvain. I would never find that way of patching by myself. The "max pos" module is great. The only thing that I don't understand well is the "wait", "minus", "abs", "concat" modules before entering the "max pos" module. I guess it's for bypassing values when no fader is changing...

Hello,
I think it should be nice to keep the window focus when switching from one workspace to another.
For the moment, each time you switch, it automatically closes the patch editor, which is not ideal for workspace comparison.

How to make an interactive riddle from a piano melody
Hello, In the scope of an Escape Game, I need to program a riddle which involves a MIDI keyboard. The concept is simple: the gamers have to play a specific melody. If they make a mistake at any moment, they need to start again. I made a patch to show you what I've done. An array contains all the not...

The update is online ! Waou! Thank you so much. I just tested the last Usine version and the black frame disappeared. It's smooth now :) PS: maybe I'm wrong, but the last version should be named "4.1.210227" and not "4.1.200227" (otherwise, Usine can't detect a new version and some patches/racks ge...

You have the same problem with the common video player. If think it is due to video compression codec. Hello, I made video patches the same way (a little bit different than the common player inserted by default when you drag a media on a rack) in order to play a video loop, but I have a problem: each time the video ends I see a little black frame before starting again. Hello,
thank you very much.
I tested some things with this procedure. For the moment, it didn't find how to add it to the current code. But I don't give up.
Excellent for the ASCII characters. It works like a charm.

Create folder via the script "File Write Text File"
Hello, When I use the module "File Write Text File" (it's a native script), I connect the "folder" inlet to a custom path name which is "dynamic" (it depends on the date). But I noticed that since the folder does not exist, the script cannot create a text file accordingly. Is there a way to create t...

Hello, I tried to make a script but I'm really a noob even if years ago I learnt several languages on a basic level. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to dive into. Thanks Grego. Hello,
I saw some scripting functions (here: https://www.brainmodular.com/manuals/hh4/en/scripting ) about the current date and I'm wondering if anyone already has scripted a patch with 3 outlets (year, month, day), be it strings or integers, please?

Thanks Sylvain and Grego. It does the job. May I ask you to add an "out of loop" function to the patch, please? Not jumping at the end of the loop instantly but just letting the video plays from time t (locator in < t < locator out) to the end.

Re: Q-link problem with the "play loop" inlet of the sampler
Thanks nay. I didn't know q-link and buses could be in conflict this way. I saw the "pass if changed" module only to avoid a module (like a b...

Q-link problem with the "play loop" inlet of the sampler
Hello, There is something I don't understand in this patch. I made a "stop" q-link (triggered by a big stop button as you can see in the control panel) in order to stop several samplers (one by subpatch, even if I removed others to simplify the patch) at the same time. The q-link is sent to a data i...
