Re: Support for gamepads with extra features.
I might get Dual Sense Edge if official or approved Hall-effect sticks will become available for it, for now it's kinda expensive for something with ancient potentiometer sticks tech  I found out that the data are osbtructed on purpose ! the LSB's and MSB's are all mixed up, that's what appea...

Re: Support for gamepads with extra features.
Hi ! here is something I did a while ago, for the Dualsense it needs a dualsenseX running in the background to set the motors it needs the oli_lab pack as well for the bitwise math interesting! I don't actually have DualSense for now, but the one I have can work in Switch Pro mode, which provides G...

Re: Bluetooth
with latest BT standards latency shouldn't be more than 10ms. and yeah, using receiver/transmitter is the only way to go if you want BT speaker to work with your audio interface. if I recall correctly, even some audio interfaces that have bluetooth built-in, only use it to connect to PC wirelessly, ...

Support for gamepads with extra features.
Hello. I've noticed that current Joystick module is only supporting Dinput or Xinput type of gamepad inputs, but there are other types with Gyroscope and other things that could be utilised. I think DualShock4 and/or Dual Sense have the most of widely supported capabilites, which include touchpad in...

Re: win 11 ?
I have not tested Win 11 extensively with HH yet but otherwise no notable problems with any other audio apps or drivers and performance seems good. I personally think that unless you are using the latest intel cpu's that can benefit from the new thread director in Win 11 then there seems to be no p...

Re: HH and Eurorack modular synth
as long as you have audio interface with DC coupling, you can send out CV/Gate as audio out on different channels.
With controllers like BeatStep perhaps it's possible to feed it midi from Usine and then controller would convert it to CV/Gate?

Hi x.iso. Thanks for replying. I think you did told abouth that I while ago. I've done many tests having only Usine modules and other...

Re: Serious issues with HH5
preset recall can cause stutters or freeze up if you don't take care to check what modules should save states to presets and which ones don't have to. it's quite easy to accumulate huge data set that needs to be loaded instantly, so you get lags. I think it also depends on specific bottleneck your s...

Re: CLAP support
I think the best for Usine would be a VST bridge that communicates with a separately running instance of Usine. I'm sure this was talked about before. VST Bridge was in development, but it had some showstopper bugs in regards to midi messages exchange. My hunch is that because VST in general was ne...

Re: CLAP support
It would be really nice if it took off, and plug-in support could be open source. That said, until the big players buy in, it's not so useful.... it's useful because it seems to take hell of a lot less time to release plugin for CLAP than port to another API. I've seen developers being able to do i...

Re: CPU Consuption
Not sure to understand the question. The manual explain that (maybe not so clearly) Most of VST are executed in a single thread and Usine can't do miracles. 87% in usine vs 8% in OSX means that only few cores are running and all others are sleeping. The best way to reduce the cpu load is to dispatc...

CLAP support
Currently there's new plugin ABI in the works that's already in finalizing stages, called CLAP (acronym for Clever Audio Plugin). Main goal is providing better alternative in terms of licensing and documentation, as well as implementation of the features. Licensing is free and it's multi-platform. h...

bitmap bending, is it possible?
Hello. So far lookng at available Video modules I don't see any way to do something like polar mapping of the bitmap, so for instance I could get one line (row) matrix module and then bend it into a circle, without having to simulate that look with many layered knob modules. Maybe I'm looking in wro...

Usine HH5 with the expert version will propose simple solutions to create standalone apps for your workspace. But do not expect any VST solution. Re: Audio Device Selection on Initialization
For me though ASIO4All doesn't give any performance/latency improvement over Windows Audio (WASAPI), but it takes away audio from other applications which is quite a hassle. there's also FL ASIO, but you need FL Studio to have it. as far as I know it's based on ASIO4All, but doesn't snatch audio fro...
