Yes - tried it, they randomly get through.
Midi-ox and others - they all get through.
I captured and saved the output of the padKontrol from Midi-ox in a sysex file. Then told Midi-ox to send the file to Unsine - they all got through.
But this is much slower than the padKontrol directly sends.

Since Usine can't handle the rapid sysex. Now the question is, I can use midi-ox or bome's to transform the sysex's into regular midi, note on's, CC, etc. Either seems light enough that I can load it without much CPU or memory load. But what's best to remap these to? What do people do with other con...

Yes I looked at Nativekontrol universal but Usine was not one of the target applications and it seems to make assumptions about what you should do with which button. It doesn't seem to allow personal customization.

Should be able to do much of the same right inside of Usine - I would think.

Liveloops are crazy to figure out. You click on the keyboard icon under the "MIDI" light. This icon turns yellow. Liveloops is now on. When you send a Program Change X, it will switch to part X at the end of the current part (pattern). If the pattern is 4 bars it will switch at the end of the 4 bars...

For now I'm just trying to get "Live Loops" working. I want to use it live.
That is forget the song position, and send a program change to switch to different parts.

Just an update. I tried Jamstix with liveloops with Reaper and it worked fine. (but I don't want a tool like Reaper - I just used it as a test.) What I would ideally like is to be able to change them to anything up to unlimited.
Unlimited could just be a large limit, i.e. 32k if limited by the container that holds the value.

Of course as long as performance and behavior remained the same.

So I see the cycle length has a max of 16. I'm wondering why the hard limit? Some plugins can follow the bar # and so can only do 16 bars with Usine, before having to cycle back.
