Just being able to drag and expand the work area! OMG!!! The whole auto-optimise size thing NEVER worked right in R5!! Having the block interfaces inline in the edit area... They did some good things to reaktor!

And I have to say my first impressions are good - MUCH more usable!! Of course, it's almost guaranteed that they'll announce an update for komplete at a ridiculously cheap price now that I shelled out for Reaktor, but I'm choosing to ignore that for now... :rolleyes:

I've always found usine much quicker to patch in than reaktor - they each have their quirks, but I'm not rushing out to buy reaktor. I'm waiting to see what else is in the next update for komplete, I might dive in then... The blocks stuff does look good though!!! Mind you, dragging patches into trac...

When you update, do you just copy the new files over the old installation? I've had a couple of odd issues in the past doing that... Usine seems to like an all new install you copy your config etc into.

Ok - If you right click on a rack in the grid that has a piano roll in it, you can select "sync to the pianoroll". This then lets you select "section sync" - maybe that's what it's all about?

I've had a patch with kontakt and a piano roll disappear in a rack - it's still there I think, I can hear it, but the patch doesn't appear anywhere in the interface... I'm gonna see if I can make it happen and nail it down as a bug...

My laptop is pretty much the same configuration and it's great! I'd say quicker is better if you can afford it. I have managed to push it to max cpu at times, but I find workflow will expand to use up what's available fairly quickly....

Installed it but an nvidia driver update for 8.1 went totally wrong and all I could get was a black screen. Ended doing a refresh back to plain ole 8 where I'll stay for now... I heard 8.1 had been pulled off the updates for some reason now? Could be wrong though...

It still makes some sounds but the interface is weird and it slowly grinds my machine to a halt trying to put the voice interfaces somewhere? I'm using v5.8.6 so not sure what's happening here? A possible solution might be to play the video from VVVV instead and control vvvv using OSC from Usine? vvvv's a lot more flexible in terms of what video it can play and how you can stream it.

Have you checked out your wifi if that's how you're connecting? Is it possible that's where the info is being lost? Maybe a firewall problem? Seems like a possibility given both laptops are doing it? I think Jasuto Pro could do it. I tried yesterday and got it receiving an lfo ok but there's a minor issue with the way jasuto receives the OSC and the way Usine sends OSC. I've posted some questions on the Jasuto forum so I'll see what hemicube says about it...

At the moment the 32"6 touch is $2299 USD, so the 3M wins on price and number of touches. I like what their doing though - well worth keeping an eye on and hopefully they'll improve with a bit of time!

Had another thought on this - when in fullscreen IB mode (after pressing '+') maybe have right click disabled and have it enabled in regular IB mode (ie when the console etc is visible)... hopefully I've explained that well enough? I'm going to play devils advocate a bit here so please don't shoot the mesenger, but if the list boxes have inertia how come they can select with a single click but the combo box can't? Is there something fundamentally different between a combobox and a listbox that precludes that behaviour?

About chord , you can also check the script named " Midi Auto Harmony II" in modules/ midi/midi tools You should be able to create your own chord settings if you edit the "Midi Auto Harmony II" script and the "Midi Transformer" module can limit things to a particular scale I think?
