I got it working through Monomeserial sending local OSC msgs thru localhost 127.0.0.1, and port 8000 / 8080. Then I set up and OSC send module. Sometimes I get an error, but enter your IP and port anyway. Toggle send off then back on. (I get a firewall exception msg at this moment, which i approve)....

Ah Yes! I've noticed that one moment I loaded Usine, OSC setup registered my local IP as my wireless IP. Another moment I loaded it, and usine registered my local IP at 127.0.0.1. I'll try loading usine and OSC setup, and then turn my Iphone on, initiating the ad hoc wireless connection, and see if ...

I've set up TouchOSC on my ipod Touch and I am having trouble getting it to communicate with usine. I've set my ipod's IP as the source, and my desktop IP as the destination. with the appropriate ports set up on both ends as well. I'm using an ad hoc network to connect them, and my firewall is turne...

So I am having trouble getting OSC receiving and sending into Usine. I've got OSC active, and when I have "monitor localhost" checked, the OSC indicator will light up when I press buttons on my monome. So I figure this means I am successful. The only problem is I cannot get the OSC send and receive ...

I think charging for add-ons would make things too complicated. I like the idea of motivating people to share more of their own creations and developing solutions, but I'm not sure if this is the way to do it. The add-ons section reminds me of the Reaktor user library. Reaktor user ensembles are fre...

I was also wondering what module or function I should use if I want to make sort of a midi crossfader. Where I have pianoroll A and pianoroll B playing in sync, but you can only hear piano roll A until pianoroll B gates A. A will hold the main midi drum patterns. B will hold fills. I want to be able...

You also might want to look at the echoplexx patch in the livekit. It would be interesting to see what the same concept could do for midi, if all of the "echoplexx midi" functionality were contained within the punch-in midi patch. Cause it seems to me that with echoplexx, once you have recorded the ...

The Punch-In Pack (with the patches), seems like it can do that. You just might have to give up a whole track for ever layer. Meaning, load a Punch In Midi patch to as many tracks as you need layers. Midi learn the record bottons of each track in a way that suits you (maybe even assign them all to t...

Thanks so much for the help! I've got a little something going now, and if it works out, I'll post it. Is there a way to copy and past midi notes in the piano roll? All I seem to be able to do is load a midi file, and then add single notes/delete single notes. I'd like to be able to take a bars wort...

I really like what the livekit is doing for audio looping, and I love the midi punch-in patch. Is there anything close to a midi "clip" live sequencer? What I am thinking so far, is to load some midi clips into all the 8 presets in the piano roll, and trigger them on-the-fly. Finally, I would like t...

Don't you use the Wave_Format_Extensible already for players ? If I remember well, it can goes up to 4 Gb, and I have and use files that are more than 3 Gb. Anyway, you can also use the RF64 wave format. The quantization remains 16, 24 or 32 bits : http://www.ebu.ch/CMSimages/en/tec_doc_t3306-2007_...

Excellent! I'm experimenting with all of this. In regards to using the CreateMidi.code1 for sending note numbers, can I set up a few (maybe 6-7) switch/line modules each with their own note number?
