I connected the device MIDI in to to the MIDI in port of the fader, I tried all of the X/Y/Z/SW MIDI setup (now I understand why only the Y is needed, for a vertical slider)... But maybe I didn't try all of those things togethe...

Dont worry About cpu usage with the grid . 32 rack is nothing and patchs are not calculated where there are desactivated.
