The particular holograpic/gestural interface I was refering to uses a combination of IR and capacitive sensors.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what exactly it is you're refering to.

Also, there's always "post-processing" whether it's in the CPU, DSP chip, or the IC for sensors that have them.

I would be happy to do it myself.
I always download them all - it's a simple matter of re-uploading them all as an archive.

It's just that people who've been using Usine for a long time might not notice a couple things added here and there now that it's not organized by date.

I have tried, but failed, to create a workspace in which the audio-to-midi will only retrigger a new pitch when you kit a midi controller key or midi button or somesuch, and otherwise will send pitch variation to the pitchbend channel so that the notes don't skitter around all over in semitone steps...

I just used the freeware application Cam Studio to do this in FLStudio, but didn't figure out how to include the audio yet. Then I used MS MovieMaker which just comes with WinXP to edit it (ameteurishly).

I can recommend Cam Studio if anyone is looking to make a video.

Even if I didn't own Usine I'd say it was notably simply for the fact that it's the most modularly capable DAW and can deal with any kind of data, and midi, in many more ways than any other DAW.
