My rig for live setup

Im using Usine Hollyhock Win32 3.0.191 (have older 32bit VSTi that I love) for a live rig. Needed all my classic keyboard sounds available to either midi keyboard at the touch of a button. I love being able to customize the setup to fit exactly my needs. Its like have a custom workstation from a maj...

About sharing image use the full editor of this forum and add the picture via the attachement, then click on "inline" button to insert it. You can also activate the trace panel/MIDI in to see what's happen directly in Usine. About your keyboard, yes, it's strange and not common, is my patch works f...

Re: Minimum Velocity Filter?

Try this patch: MIDI add Velocity.pat Thanks, after looking very closely at the midi in port, Ive noticed that this MidiPlus 6x Pro controller is not actually sending a note on msg when I play softly! I confirmed this with midi ox. https://imgur.com/l9f2tg8 https://imgur.com/l9f2tg8 (hope image wor...

I suppose you could do something like this:
usine_velmap.jpg
This is very close to working. I can see code 2 on the output limited at where I set it, but this is not passing note on/off ??

Re: Minimum Velocity Filter?

Hello and Welcome schelsullivan ! You can add a MIDI transformer module after the MIDI in and adjust gain I tried that but it still passes a zero velocity when played soft. The gain of the the midi transformer would work perfectly if the gain could be "inverted". I does a perfect job of limiting ma...

Re: Minimum Velocity Filter?

(except the max which is fu...

Minimum Velocity Filter?

Hey guys, Side note: I bought Usine! Love the power and versatility! I need to adjust midi note data code 2 (velocity) (??) to have a minimum velocity adjustment. I just bought a Midiplus X6 Pro to add a second manual my live setup. It seems that this midi controller will send a velocity of 0 (zero)...

Re: Newbie VSTi Live Setup

Thought of another question: Am I reinventing the wheel in setting up live vst mixer/controller setup on my own from scratch? Its a great learning experience but is there an add-on that fits the bill?

Newbie VSTi Live Setup

Hey thanks for reading. Ive been able to setup a pretty cool setup using 4 VSTi, piano, e piano, organ, synth. I would like to setup touch buttons for BYPASS so that only one install is sounding at a time essential bypassing the other 3 when 1 is chosen. Later I might want to toggle that feature on ...
