Heh soundbos,

I notice we have a similiar soundcard. Since 2.5 Usine takes a rather long time to initialize. Does your copy eventually open?

Thank you! What a wonderful looking updated version, Usine gets better and better at doing what it already does so well. That is, making even me sound good.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I believe bsork has it right with the price. It would make it still possible for folks with limited means to purchase Usine.

Hi senso,

Since you brought it up, may I ask what might be your vision of/hopes for Usine's future? I'd imagine that you, as both user and developer, have some dreams about where you'd like to see this go.

Your post gave some hints. <grin>

Yes, I was excited to see the preset module. So at present there is no way to import a third-party .fxb into Usine... btw Often I read how folks would like another way (besides MiniHost) to build preset banks. The feature you plan on adding could prove to be just one more excellent reason to use Usi...

...forgive my vst-addled memory...but I believe it was runagate's enthusiasm via KVR thread http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
that first opened my eyes to using Usine.

So there...
