Hi everyone, Have you heard of this new multi-touch concept a designer named Clayton Miller just released? http://10gui.com/video/ There's is really few information on his website, it seems that it hasn't been implemented yet (only an interaction concept), but I found it really interesting because i...

In my university, the technician responsible for programming the immersive virtual reality "platform" tested a kind of 3D musical interface just for fun. He made 3 or 4 spheres that launched a sound when "touched", but there was too much audio latency. The movements are recognized thanks to 3 infrar...

Yes! The new grid concept seems to be really good, the auto-wiring must be also time saving, as well as the VST interface integration! No more time needed to program and organize all the controls! But well, I guess a lot of us still need to purchase some multi touch technology at first (I am part of...

There's a huge noise scene in Berlin, plenty of specific locations for noise music or regularly hosting performances. And there are also often workshops, mostly about circuit bending or stuff like that. I play much more instrumental music (I'm a beginner with laptop and electronic music in general),...

I know this place: a wonderful noise performance location!

But I didn't knew Usine was known in Berlin, I lived there one year and never met somebody who had heard of it.

I'm wondering why it is impossible to midi or key learn directly on a number of the preset manager, if I want to recall a preset, I have to connect a switch to the "recall X" of the preset manager module and then midilearn on this switch. I didn't dowload the newest version of Usine since a few mont...

+1

I guess there will be a bigger offer of affordable multi-touch laptops in the next years. Multitouch will probably become almost inevitable in a lot of applications (music, graphic design, CAD, and even page setting for office softwares...)

It already exists as a patch (not directly as a module) and do a good job!

I tried it with bass and with guitar, the latency is correct and if you play clean it works really good. I think this patch is to be found in the "analysis" section.

btw , there's no way right now to center your module , but this one is "selected " and look like this : Yes, it certainly looks like this, but I can't see it, because it's outside of the window!!! I used subpatches, but it's a pretty big patch and I spent some time connecting all the wires, but nev...

Hello Usiners, I've been testing Usine Free version for a few month and just bought the Pro Version to begin using it more seriously to play and compose music. I first begun designing the drum sequencer of my dreams (I'm really excited by the new interface builder possibilities!). But I was stopped ...
