I'm building a project with about 40 sampler modules and it would be really useful if I could feed it the filename to save samples under. Currently, unless I'm mistaken, the sampler can either save under a random filename or display a save as dialogue but either of these options is a headache for a ...

hu , not sure to follow you... first you said "the value in the global variable patch doesn't change." now "as if the flow was never stopped"...? In my original workspace, I had several SendBusses sending information to the same named bus. This had the effect of one blocking the other. and if you s...

I think I have identified the problem. If you have more than one thing sending a signal into the set variable bus, then even though the flow has been halted using the pass module, the values going through the bus don't stop with the result that on the GetBus end, the value is randomly flicking throu...

Hi All, After searching the forum archives, there was mention of a global variable module but usine seems to no longer have one. I have been using the following approach but it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone point out what is wrong with this method? I created a patch with a ''set variable'' bus co...

Yes, thanks Martin, renaming the grid slot is exactly what I was asking... I'll save the parent patches in a temp folder for now but I humbly make a feature request for being able to rename them. Without names, the workspace I'm working on has become hugely difficult to comprehend. Thanks for the he...

Hi Senso, It would be useful to have a "do nothing" module to help organise patches. A couple of ways where it would be useful would be to name a signal in a wire that has been created by a complex series of modules where you come back to it and can't remember how it all works and also like a juncti...

Hi Guys, I'm a little confused about this whole 64 bit business. Up until last week, I only had a 32 bit computer... I have bought an HP touchsmart tx2z. What is the general wisdom? Do I put on 64 or 32 bit windows 7 on it? Can 32 bit apps work on a 64 bit OS and if so, is there a performance hit in...

Nice one! I'm desperate to go pro... should be soon :) Guru doesn't quite work how I described - with Guru, you have to drag the level all the way down to disable which gets really annoying (maybe there's another way of disabling it in guru. I'll have to look in the manual.) The behaviour I was tryi...

wow 23fx23 thats very cool, if a little too heavy on the cpu for my creaky old computer. I think I may have a shot at duplicating this in c++ once I have the money to go pro even tho my c++ skills are somewhat rusty... I would do a slightly different implementation where a square would be turned off...

It's taken ages of searching before I discovered usine by accident and it looks exactly what I'm after - finally something that caters for live performance. Many thanks to senso for a fantastic bit of kit... I cannot get FXexpansion Guru to stay in sync with usine. I don't know whether it is an issu...
