Im not sure that the tracks are the problem because i tried putting the midi patches in a new unused track in the sequencer and it still does it on ocassion. so what i figured out was that the piano roll for whatever reason started again but only for a fraction of a second at the very end of the segment... why would this be? the piano roll is 2 bars and the segment in the sequencer is 8 bars using grid snapping to size it? i did use what you suggested an...
