Here is the patch. This functionality only works in usine v5. Presets 0 and 1 contain different sets of arrays which are stored in the 0 and 1 slots of the script. To test simply click preset 0 then use the fader to recall 0 and 1 from the script to see their contents, now click preset 1 and notice ...

I have been able to "synthesize" sound in usine using a very short loop of a sample in loop mode of the sampler. If arrays could be used as waveforms then the osc could be drawable and there would be no need for a seperate "synthesis" or "osc" module. A solution would be to be able to connect the ar...

wow! thanks for the replies. You all make this forum a great experience. Basically, the clock beat module "animates" the roll. with the new rollarr module there is no way to step or "animate" the roll in equal increments. The clock beat acts as a sort of "frames per second" as in video. the faster t...

Thanks for the response. I appreciate your help. However i'm not sure if this solves it completely. I should have supplied more info. Basically, I have one array to "draw" the values into several other arrays so the array does not need to be fed back into the draw array. The roll happens after the d...

greetings all, After using v5 (which is awesome by the way) I noticed that the "roll array" user module is missing the shift left and right buttons which were essential in a project of mine. is there anyway to recreate their behavior in a patch? basically the buttons loop the roll fader so that it k...

I know that there is an array expand/compress module but it is only for array length. is there a way to do the same with the values of the elements within the array? i am trying to use one array to edit the values in multiple arrays all with different min/max values but i want the resulting arrays t...

I am trying to make a drum machine with multi outs. However I don't understand how to send its outputs to more than one track. for example i have the drum machine on track one and i want to send the kick to track 2 the snare to 3, etc. I know that you can choose a track input for each track but that...

Thank you all for taking the time to figure this out. Martin your solution looks like the simplest. One of the key in usine patching is to separate data manipulation and data visualisation, it's often necessary ;) I will keep that in mind. I have not thought of that before. thanks again to you all f...

Its very simple the problem is it only randomizes the steps that are currently visible (no of steps). I want to randomize the entire array no matter what number the no of steps is on. i want it to randomize the steps beyond the currently selected no of steps. A simple function but kind of hard to ex...

How about a usine OS? This is just a thought i had and would like to see what others thoughts on this are. I suppose it could be done with usine + wine on a custom lightweight linux distro. The only development required would be to make usine work smoothly with wine. which may be hard, I dont know. ...

1) It would make things much less tedious when building interfaces if it was possible to select more than one object in the IB and to move them at the same time. 2) Also in the patcher how about the ability to select modules with the mouse by dragging a box around the modules. This way you don't hav...
