Thanks for the reply but I think you misunderstood. I would like to store the data contained within the store array to a preset as if the stored arrays are exposed to the patch instead of being hidden by the script. is this possible?

yeah im pretty sure its a well known limitation. one would assume with the integration of max into live that they would "fix" the midi limitation but maybe it is too hard for the devs to accomplish without a serious reworking of the code?

it looks like you are on the right path. an idea for the reverser is to start the recording as soon as the cycle starts so that you have some recorded audio ready to be reversed when activated by the seq switch but i have not tried it yet. and then there's always the question of what if you activate...

I also have noticed that it is related to auto resize on. But, I also noticed that if you have a sub patch with auto resize off inside of a parent patch with auto resize on then moving the sub patch around will cause its contents to shift as well. Hope this helps.

i have gotten usine to open just fine with linux/wine but the problem is usine doesnt work with wineasio. so there is no sound. this seems to be the only issue. maybe if usine could use another sound layer besides asio it would work?

Yeah i think its related to the blocksize. The bigger the block the less accurate the events are? the problem is my cpu can only handle 256 with this particular patch so i guess its time to upgrade my machine. things must be very smooth with a 32 block. thanks for the help anyway.
