Occasionally, one of the VSTi's I use has a massive failure and creates an explosion of white noise (very startling when wearing headphones!)

Clearly, one doesn't want this to happen during a live performance, so is there some way of killing the audio if it goes above a certain threshold?

I know this is a very old thread, but can this 'on activation' module be used to clear the buffer of a VST?

Edit: I figured out how to kill the midi by attaching an 'on activation' to a 'send all notes OFF' but the tail is still there when I re-enable the VSTi.

Whenever I move tracks in IB and lock them down, go to Grid mode, then go back to IB, they always return to their normal positions, as if I had pressed "reorganize controls."

Is this a "bug" or does the user not have complete control over placement?
