I find the HOLD part very useful for percussive sounds.
How does the knobs adjust the curves? from log to exponential or viceversa?

I'll have to explore your patch a bit more, it owns many alternative ways to control a sound.

Gave this a spin but get an error "The container module doesn't exist" continuously... It still makes some sounds but the interface is weird and it slowly grinds my machine to a halt trying to put the voice interfaces somewhere? I'm using v5.8.6 so not sure what's happening here? It's a new short melody, kind of folk progressive orchestral electronic :P.

Usine has been used with many panning effects. The samples used are not quite of great quality but old soundfonts.

I have only found the arduino_uno and the arduino_pro on here.
The PRO does not have any usb_to_serial interface onboard but is half cheaper than the UNO (40€ versus 80€)

IMHO many of the messages are more like warnings rather than fatal errors, in my experience a lot of errors are related to the action of moving/copying one patch or module from one place to another in the grid, the buses being the more delicate things.

The matrix is now integrated into usine, so there's no need to downloading that.
About the vocoder, only take the bin and the Patch folder, the others are part of the source code. copy on your personal library folder.

Yes, I think it is possible for each language. And for the english one, it is about 30 MBytes in size, mostly for the jpg images.

Would be nice to have, similar to the text field module, a simple data field module for numerical input, and not always having to convert a text string input into a numerical value.

is a one track midi file and owns the strange behaviour noted in usine.

I think this is related to the fact that the mouse module can only capture X,Y positions when INSIDE the usine main window. And maybe windows 'steals' a tiny part of Usine space at the top and botton of the screen to 'retake' control of the mouse.

I use a program called winroll to roll/unroll the browser or the patch window or the sequencer or help window or even the main usine window when necessary. Works even with win7. yes, I know it takes more wires and connections and eat more cpu, but I found it useful for a visual tracing of a process etc. So eventually, once the patch is working and the modules are better distributed, I just could remove it.

Maybe I'm naive but, why don't you convert the laser signals to especific pure tones? Mixed it up and bring it to usine through the sound input. Once the sound is processed , filtered, etc., you could convert every tone to midi notes, with intensity included. Not as elegant as your original project,...

The module list could be useful in the future, for example, when porting addons modules from older to radical new versions of Usine, while keeping the "datasheet of the module" with almost no change at all.
