Well yes it would be very useful to have some pentatonic scales in the midi transformer - there are a lot that would sound great with this sort of setup - particularly some of the non western ones like slendro and pelog (used in Gamelan) as well as some jazz and blues scales and the major and minor ...

I tried arpix but it seems quite limited - with arpix the balls just bounce up and down and don't seem to allow me to 'throw' them to make them bounce against walls at different velocities (and collide with each other) to create notes semi randomly.
