@nayseven: your file opens correctly. i opend another midi file from my collection (comercial product) direct into usine: works. same file opened in nuendo and exported (as format 0 and 1 ): in usine both are broken, in nuendo reopened both are correct ... :P so it seems to be something with nuendo ...

it seems to work now, one hour playing and no hangup. the key was i guess the 64ms bloc set to 128. and maybe the (i think new) midi clock patch in 5.5, using 5 midi in modules instead of one in-module and 5 filters. tempo realtime changing is not perfect yet, but well ... less is more. now cpu in u...

it was also for start/stop with the start button on the drums, now i changed the midi clock module so it reacts on start/stop, but tempo is by usine, remote controlled with another knob on the drums, could work . i will try your tips anyway, did not try unpack and blocksize sounds like a good idea! ...
