Hi JJ

I've kind of resurrected this topic to ask your opinion about your magical script in that patch.

Do you think it is possible to make a 5x compatible version of that?

Cheers

Hello jjbonkers, Amazing : ) If I didn't overlook something, it's working perfectly as is. The location you've added the script seems just right, affecting both step modules as it should. It doesn't look like there's a need for a second script, because step modules are concatenated before going into...

I asked because 'thingie' removal :D was already implemented as a function in my patch. There's a settings button somewhere, if a scale other than chromatic is selected there, all keys turn into white. Since this is readily available, I thought you might have meant something else.

By 'piano' do you mean having vertical bands on a panel, or the whole idea of 'single' multi-octave panel?

I wrote a rather long reply but after noticing 23fx23's exciting news it became a kind of obsolete, so I better hold my breath until then : )

Btw. yes you're right, combining both workspaces may be more time consuming than I first thought.

...but the idea is to convert all the midi notes in the grid to #CC... If all you want to use "apc as a sequencer" why do you need this? It depends on the kind of the "x" If I understand your question correctly, it may be very easy. If your Xs are coming from seperate sources, use an array module with up to 128 faders and connect your seperate sources to fader inputs, then the red output pin of the array module gives you a single arr...

Hi

Is this occuring even with very simple workspace, ie., hardware -> Usine (just with a MIDI in and out) -> hardware ?

Also, as you might know already, there's this "perfest syncro" option. I'm not even sure if this has an effect on MIDI timing, but may worth a try anyway : )

Looks like you have already connected an irrelevant pin there. Try deleting this wire ("2") first and drag the piano's blue "out" pin to the VST's blue "in" pin

Using a sampler module with 4 inputs maybe : )
It asks you the required number of inputs when you put it in a patch.
As long as you have 4 or more input sound card that would be no problem.

Some bad interaction between the touchscreen driver on my laptop and HH2 ?
What about the other elements, like checkboxes in settings panel etc.? I mean the ones which normally toggles upon a single touch.

Quickly tried here, and it looks like working as it is supposed to (ie., touch on touch off, same as HH1). It is clearly stated on the nag secreen which appears each time the unregistered HH II is started.
And the opposite is never mentioned anywhere as far as I know. I wonder where this "hollyhock 2 "free"" idea came from : )

A significant portion of working with HH is about making YOUR OWN gui : ) so the sloppyness of a user designed gui for a patch wouldn't be HH's fault.

Is it a problem with the converted values, or about the resulting colors?

In case of the latter, it might be something related to an interference with background colors (well, just an intuition : ) )
