Looks interesting, thanks. Seems pretty deep, I might have to read up on it and try out the reaper front end. Have you used CDP much? re Csound, you're probably aware of cabbage to build vsts from csd files. I seem to recall that I had some luck with that in hollyhock 1 (maybe just the HH 32 bit ver...

Sephult, appreciate the pun :-) but I think there is a bug. It does seem to correctly trigger on the rare occasion when the section is entered, but most of the time it will not, esp. if I go back a section then go forwards again, and vice versa. I think the automation possibilities are pretty cool, ...

Hi, I tried the workspace you provided and it does work correctly when you drag the rack over to the next section. However, if you drag a completely new instance of the rack to the next section in the grid (instead of just resizing it), it isn't correctly triggering the numfile change when that sect...

Hi all, Not sure if I have missed something obvious or if there is a bug or not, but in hollyhock 1 I created a little patch with a piano roll and horizontal fader which I could then automate in the grid so I could play different midi files as the grid was being played. In HH2 this doesn't appear to...

The reason I think duplicate line could be useful is, I can duplicate the line and then mute it (so it will be skipped), and then try some new ideas on the duplicated line. If I like it I keep that line and delete the original, if not then delete the duplicate and re-enable the original. At the end ...

Couple of enhancements which I think would be useful: * Ability to duplicate a line. I can't see a way to copy a grid line at the moment? * Mute a grid line. So when a grid line is muted it will be skipped. I think this could be useful for trying different arrangement ideas. I don't think there is a...

Have you try to use the rearoute Asio driver from reaper ? with those drivers, you can run reaper and Usine simultanously and send audio to and thro one another software, means tou can play with Usine and record in Reaper or send midi from Reaper to Usine then record the result from Usine to Reaper...

In my opinion you should try to create a patch at the end of your rack with only audio input /vol/ audio output. Put a fader or knob to control the gain and make your automation here instead of the output gain. Good thinking mate. There's already an Audio-Thru patch in the library which I dragged t...

Hi all, I like to render my individual racks out so I can then import them into Reaper as separate stems. When I use direct to disk to render out my racks, any gain automation I have applied in the grid is not being applied - basically just renders the rack at 0db. Steps: * Create a rack with a vst ...

Thanks for the reply. Yes, originally I was changing it with my own little piano roll patch (basically a horz fader on the numfile and setting it through an automation lane), but I found the automation was forgetting values (ie. zeroing it out, or alternatively, would go into some weird edit mode wh...

Hi, I was going to create a new thread but the forum wouldn't let me, so posting this here because it is regarding the grid.... I've been using hollyhock for a few months now, but am struggling to get the grid working in the way I would like. I will have a rack which contains a piano roll patch, and...
