Sounds great. I'm trying to only sporadically watch KVR as it sucks too much time (and promotes the dreaded G.A.S).

Transitioning to semi-hermit lifestyle as a result of getting some Nord Modular gear but keen to keep up to date with Bazille and Usine.

Guy loads up Reaktor on it - disappointed it isn't multitouch ready.

Some interesting points made. So who's tried Usine on a Surface tablet?

I've had no issues running Usine on Win7 with a Samson Carbon controller. My only problem is I'd rather be in OSX with all my other plugins! ;)
The other day I got the disk access / DSP freeze issue I haven't had since switching from XP to OSX 5 years ago.

Yes indeed. Patching is why i'm drawn to Usine. Feels like a midpoint between Reaktor and Max/MSP at the moment which is exactly what I want.

I have a friend I've worked with who is into Pure Data. I've found Max6 much easier to get into though and have recently started macro patching in Reaktor. Each system has its own approach though but i'm getting there. For example I had to work out how to separate midi-channels so that I can use Noa...

Thanks for the reply percuson. I have both of those and will explore. Patching is definately what i'm looking for.
Happy that I can take my time to reveal the potential as i'm not in any hurry to learn how to use it for teaching or performance (yet).

Hiya... so i'm getting the hang of Usine and really liking it.

I'm wondering where to start with the add-ons? What are the must-haves in your opinion?

I'm in Australia. Doing a search I haven't found much available that isn't beyond my budget.
The Viewsonic TD2220 seems like the best deal but also seems pretty hard to find. Any reports on it?

Kinda digging that this can be used with Splashtop 2 on the iPad.
Though I do think setting up Lemur templates will be more useable.
I am interested in current available Touchscreens that will work with Usine running on a Macbook with Bootcamp and Win7.

Running Usine5 fairly happily on my Macbook Pro with Bootcamp/Win7 while I wait for the beta.
But Usine is rather lonely in Windows as most of my plugins are in OSX only. I'm wondering will the OSX beta arrive alongside the WIN beta and will we be able to load AU's and VST's into it?
