Just being honest :) If you want to have a go at it , I'll try and help you when I can regarding questions on the fastscript but I have no knowledge of the older script language. Hope...

Hey question, made some edits to the workspace http://www.sensomusic.com/forums/uploads.php?file=StepControllerWithScales.wkp I implemented the scales on the first step controller. Should be easy enough to do the next one. Only difference is to increase the octave number going into my script. Hope i...

By the piano thingie (was that too technical? lol) I mean not have black and white notes, just have a series of white notes which when played one after the other will play the scale selected. Ie say the major scale is selected then if the user plays notes 1 to 7 on your step control he will be playi...

Hey had a quick look Interesting patch have never used the step module before, like the way you can resize to your own preference. In terms of applying my scales, there are a couple of things. This is supposed to have a piano feel right? Problem with that is that there are 12 notes in an octave on y...

Hey thanks for the feedback. Not too sure about what is happening with the images with regard to the workspace. I know that all four images were embedded in the patch that I uploaded. Perhaps Nay-seven could shed light on this - I could upload another version with the images in a separate folder zip...

http://www.sensomusic.com/forums/uploads.php?file=worphMiz.JPG Anyone ever use MorphWiz - a windows 8 App that allows you to play various synths using a touch screen interface ? Well I kinda liked that interface so I lifted it for my new Hollyhock patch, imaginatively named 'WorphMiz'. Its a simple...

Found out why my images were not saving in the patch. Some of the images names were only been used dependent on the selection of combo boxes etc. These were not being saved. Had to explicitly attach all my images to a separate panel image modules and then make them invisible. In this way I could bui...

Hi again its been some time but Ive had the time to look at this again. So now I have an image folder in the same directory as my patch and can reference images in this folder in the patch. Next question: how do you package both patch and image files into one .pat file that I can upload to the usine...

Hi I'm working on a patch that contains a panel image module. I wish to display different bitmap images on this panel. At the moment I'm feeding a text panel into the image input of the panel. The text panel specifies the location of the image on my computer. However is there a better way to do this...

Hi 23fx23 thanks for your response. That is a shame coz it looked wicked even if it was that old. I might wait till I have ableton in front of me and start to evaluate my options. Sounds like its tricky to get info back from Live but buying Max 4L might be stretching it for me. Anyways best of luck ...

Thanks ceasless, will give that a try. Yeah I find that lack of debug options is adding quite a lot of time to getting the thing to work especially for more complex scripts. Personally I prefer Pascal style language coz I know it better than Lua but whatever will work with breakpoints/watches is goo...

Hi all, Im using a simple midi generator (see image). I notice that the visuals and audio is not syched for this patch. My sound card admittedly is not very good but I notice that the sound is lagging behind the viusals by a significant amount..? Is this a bug or just down to the latency in my sound...
