I've been with Usine a few weeks now but primarily in patch / grid mode. Been meaning to get to the sequencer, which I opened today. It looks like the only way to place a patch on the time line is via the browser ? Wondering if this is correct because if I create a patch(es) and then want to arrange...

Right, just so I'm clear about the situation - Kontakt itself plays fine. It's the sample programs that integrate Kontakt or Kompakt or whatever they call it that seem to hang notes - forever.

Just an update to his thread that Kontakt does play fine. Program list is still garbage text but no big concern about that.

I forget what you call these but I'm referring to the sample dvd's that install their own copy of Kontakt. Anyway, they are not working well, or at all in Usine. Basically I get an audio hang , meaning I hit a note and it goes on forever, panic doesn't help. Also when I tried to see the program list...

Yes, apologies , I meant to say autoload. Still disabling it, exited the program and then starting it again I struggled to get it to work. No sound, piano roll wasn't moving. Setup file was fine. No error messages in the console nor in the log file. Fortunately this time I was able to get it working...

I've disabled autosave and will see what happens when I restart the program.

I've been poking around in the demo directory hoping to see how the preset module works. Haven't found anything yet and ingenuity hasn't helped me either.
