Okay, well my situation is I want to load a wkp and I don't want the sequencer to start automatically and I don't want the audio engine on. Just tell me how to avoid this please. Thanks.

In what I am doing - don't need the scenes - do you use them to help setup - are there any benefits derived from using scenes as opposed to just loading up the file- I guess if I am accompanying a live musician it would help to have one scene rather than just hit on instead of off...

I know I am a pain but... I need to put an equalizer in the chain of 13 tracks- nothing in the grid view... (depends on how you say it but all patches on tracks in seq) so... should I route all tracks to track 14 and put a mixer there or a vst - how would be the best way...? efficient.

Well I got the computer to not stumble by eliminating half the random small files it was bring up in one patch - didn't matter much and I disabled my local internet connection inside my computer so no hidden program could spin... think I have some junk on this - its so hard to keep off... it worked....

One thing that would be incredibly helpful is - for the live patch or for specific patches or modules what are those specific things that are cpu costly - would limiting the range of pitch help or the length of something or the rate of cycle.... you know what I mean. I like this.

well I installed everything and my vst's are not showing up. And they have been installed and rescanned with the correct directory - this happened when I dragged a patch with windows into the demo folder... I also renamed the demo folder... is that bad?

I think I got it - only the first 3 outs should be lit on the setup dialog - which are 3 virtual outs - I was lighting all 5 and wondering why this was such a wreck. Not sure I dig it though.

This is what I am talking about - the left right left right stuff dealing with surround sound as some people go 1,2,3,4,5, etc in a circle and some count it differently as 1,2,front 1,2,back and then a center and sub - I guess the point I am trying to make is its weird to have them thought of as Lef...

I have got 90% of it gone by loading basic services and lowering my graphics card acceleration and eliminating the firewall on my firewire which I did not know I had... I will look at the other 10%

as its a little embarrassing. I have not found the answer to this... I have a 10 output interface and this software allows me to put both a left and a right to a channel - furthermore on output 2 it allows me to choose 3/4 left and 3/4 right - I am wanting to output 5 speakers to my 5 speaker system...
