Hi everybody,

I am just beginning to learn to use hollyhock, and please, do not get me wrong - I am mostly interested in sounds and music, but
my question is: is it possible to get the same bright colors that we had in Usine 5? I really liked the former colors and Hollyhock has pastel colors - not bright.

Perhaps I have not accessed the complete color panel, but when I import an older patch into hollyhock the appearance (colors) changes.
Maybe I have to use a specific export/import algorithm to get complete import (with colors)?

Regards,
gerd

no specific export/import algorithm is ready for that, but can increase luminosity/saturation if you need it..?
and there's also a file named colorset.ini ( text file) for general colors , you'll find it in Usine/resources/colors

yeah, I edit color.ini to change text to white. Then I can read my wkp in the sun..... the hollyhock color scheme does not work outdoors.

But I did wonder--there is not the option for the full color picking window, afaik. Is that coming, or deemed unneccesary? I like to use HSL sliders to pick colors. I guess I can build my own, can't I ;)

Looking forward to working with the new version, thanks Senso!
