Looks great, Olivier! When will the full version be available for download? (I see the free version has already been posted.)

Chapeau, Monsieur!

Should we, registered users, wait for a e-mail with direct download link or we'd download the demo version?

Thanks!!!!

Miquel.

hello,

I'm sorry to tell you that the new version will be available for free only for the "normal licence owners" (as a free update).

It's a terrible decision because I know that most of early donators, like you, are very implicated in the Usine project.

I'm sure that you will understand that I really need more contributions: buy computers, pay for someone to help me, etc.

I want to keep this soft as cheap as possible that's why I need your contribution.

Thanks a lot.

Could you tell us what "normal license owner" means?

Will there be a cheaper update fee for 'early adopters' or do we have to pay the whole 50? to get Usine back?

I understand that...but maybe a special price for us that have already donated something before...discount the donated value?

When v3 is released should we pay again, 50? now for v2.8, and more for v3 upgrade?

Thanks.

I'm confused about this discussion, and I don't like to talk about money.
When v3 is released should we pay again, 50? now for v2.8, and more for v3 upgrade?
It's the first upgrade since one year.
Do you really think that 50? per year is too expensive?
Will there be a cheaper update fee for 'early adopters' or do we have to pay the whole 50? to get Usine back?
Unfortunately, too complex.
I will turn Usine licence into something more clear. The best way I found is to pay for a normal licence and then for upgrade. Finally like almost all soft...
But try to keep it very cheap and keep the free version available.

Hi.
I REALLY understand your point. The reason that made me donate some money in the first place is the same reason I have to buy the complete version.Your work in usine is fantastic.Usine is really impressive.

I was just tryong to understand things clearly. I'm not using usine in the 2 or 3 months, so I was just thinking in waiting for some v3 anouncement in the near future...just gessing...

Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

Ok, I was just wondering. This update is fantastic, I'm glad to see the palette suggestion I made has been implemented. Lots of great new features. I'll start saving up my pennies for a new license, in the meantime the very generous free version will fill my tinkering needs.

I was going to ask about possible academic pricing (college makes me poor) but less than $80 CAD is already affordable enough I think.

I hope I didn't come across too negative. I really love what your doing here. Thanks for the great work!

Hi guys!

You won't believe me: I just did not go to sleep cause i wanted that new release.

Well, I know what means money probs, I really know. But here, considering Senso's huge work, it seems to me somewhat out of place talking about money.
This 2.8 is great. It does so many things and so well. That price could even be twice it would stay a too-low-price and I hope we all know that.
I had to kill my mother for the third time to obtain some money for Usine, and I don't care going to hell, because here it's just paradise. And I agree with you that the first kill is the harder, but, well... No kidding, guys!

Now let's play music, Okay?
Sorry for my words...

Regards.

Once again Olivier has done some great work, and I actually think that the new version deserves to be called it 3.0 instead!

No-no. Version 3.0 includes private espresso. To early to talk about.

Good news. Can't wait to become a gold member. Usine has grown into an impressive tweaking device, and I'm happy to give my support if it means we will all get more amazing features.

If 3.0 has the espresso option, I presume 4.0 will contain a virtual cocktail piano?

(I usually go straight to the forum page, but just now I had a quick look at the news page. I wondered whatever a "glod member" might be, but thanks to roby I understand that it's a typo for gold member.)

the next step is to become a God Member...

Yeah. I don't mind to become a God Member if there is cocktails.
