Next Usine hollyhock version (coming soon) will integrate a Chat window, directly accessible in the Usine interface!

Please please please tell me there's some way for chat participants to send text messages out into the wider module world of Usine for manipulation?

i.e. someone types something like "/trig Hullo Nay!" and an outlet on a Chat module emits the string "Hullo Nay!". We can then send it to be projected as part of live visuals, parse it to alter patterns/synths/parameters, resend over OSC, send to an external shell script to perform a text-to-speech conversion, etc etc etc.

I've been working with various forms of live audience interaction recently and this functionality could be killer for it!

LOL Features for the generation "Chat Kids"

Making music means playing a keyboard, a drumkit etc. I need a third hand for using a chat window. What's next? A Email client or a facebook client?

BTW: A studio should have a very restrictive firewall and a isolated network.
