version 3.10 beta3

improvements
- New CPU protect function, stops the audio processing only if CPU consumption is higher the CPU protect value for long duration (5 seconds). Avoid troubles with short CPU peaks.
- New loading procedure of patches. Now, in most of cases, there is no more (or less...) “Glitch” effect during the loading of patches while the audio engine is running. Good news…
- New track title color, more contrasted.
- New About form, update of the Sensomusic "Team" member names.

fixed bugs
- Click on the “Pre-Listen” area stops the “Pre-Listening”
- Repaint of Step-Data modules is now done after a Conductor recall.
- The Global Synchro Restart now updates the sequencer position (only in Bar mode).
- Sometime, loaded patches are not initialized properly (all parameters to 0)

Ach !

Men, i'm impressed by all this work ! I'm a complete newbee here, as I've been using Logic for many years, and stopped working on windows since....well, I can't even remember...
Anyway, Usine seems to be a very interesting tool for what I want to do on stage, but I will have to work hard on it !

At the moment, I have a serious problem with my setup :
Macbook Core duo 2.16 with boot camp and windows XP pro
Ram = 2 Go
Motu Ultralite and 828 mk2

I'm quite surprised by the impossibility to reduce the buffer size under 256 samples. And even so, I experience proplems, and I often have to restart Usine.

Does anyone have the same problem ?

I will have a lot of others questions, but first, i need to this.

Thanks !

hello Daviche,

Generally the latency depends on the ASIO driver.

Try some alternative Universal drivers:
http://centrance.com/products/ud/
or
ASIO4ALL

With my RME I often get 64 samples of latency, if the wkp is not to heavy...

About the stability. Of course Usine is not bug free but, seems to be almost stable. If not, It's probably a matter of configuration.
Many user run Usine on Mac/Intel without any trouble. (my self I have a macbook!)
So take a look on the driver.
