OK Olivier thank for lock option
I Have a big problem with interface builder. I have build an interface for my live set with a lot of objects (more than 100 objects, fader , meters, switches, pictures instruments ....). I have organized all objects in the windows (I have a big window for all objects) and after that (long time to do that...) , sometimes if I modify the size of the window (interface builder) half of my objects have change of place, damned ...
And I cannot to recover the good place. I must to move objects one by one.....
That arrives too (sometimes) when I start usine later, objects are shifted..
I think it is a bug, now I stop and wait.

I have a feature wish for the interface builder Olivier.
Here is my problem :
I build a patch with a number of controls on the interface builder.
Now I save that patch as a sub patch.
When I now load a second copy of that sub patch, the controls are placed on the interface exactly on top of the controls of the first patch. Which means I have to manualy place (slide) all controls of the second sub patch.
Would it be possible to, by default, when you load a sub patch select ALL components of the loaded sub patch so that you can slide them as a GROUP in the interface builder ?
This would be a BIG improvement, saving a lot of time when building interfaces.

While we're at it...: Would it be possible to change the selection of objectss to include multiple select in general? If possible without too much trouble, I also wouldn't mind it if the objects kept their sizes when unlocked - with the title bars.
Edit:
Of course I meant without the titlebars...

yes, you are right, the window management in the interface builder is some time heavy.
I'm working on that point and the ability to create very personnal interface with skins, etc...
